10 years have passed since the beginning of Rowad Al-Khaleej International Schools
The international schools began as one of the educational system sectors in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia since the Cabinet Resolution No. 2007 on 12/12/1394 AH. It initially stemmed from the need for non-Arab communities residing in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia or Saudi children living abroad who recently arrived in Saudi Arabia and have not received yet any of the Arabic education and culture. Hence the need for educational opportunities that offer both Arabic and international standards as well. Then, the turnout continued towards global education, which became an educational opportunity with global criteria and standards that guarantee for students the foundation education and knowledge based on authenticated global standards. Besides, International schools pave the way for students to join the international business market in all countries around the world.
Hence, the quantum leap in the educational started in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Therefore, more international schools have emerged that combine Arabic educational standards and culture, in addition to international curricula and criteria. Consequently, ambitious successful open-minded Arab generations emerged who are more capable to open up to other cultures around the world and inspire and aspire to make a great effect. Generations who are capable to keep pace with development and progress in various areas of educational, intellectual, and cultural life. The thing that would be positively reflected for the sake of the progress and development of their country as well.
In this regard, Rowad Al-Khaleej international school come as one of the most prominent international schools in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia since its opening in 2010, with a journey full of success and distinctive achievements for us and our students. The most prominent achievements of Rowad Al-Khaleej International Schools over the past ten years:
- 2010
The first branch of Rowad Al-Khaleej international schools was founded in the eastern destination of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Dammam – Al-Zuhur neighborhood – Anas bin Malik Street.
- 2011
Agreements, strategic partnerships, and academic credits have been signed with the American AdvancED Society, Linguaphone, Skyward, Franklin Covey in managing the quality of the educational process, whether in curricula, or continuous training of educational and administrative personnel.
- 2012
Rowad Al-Khaleej International Schools adopted the philosophy of “The Leader in Me”, which is considered one of the effective practical educational solutions to help develop the basic life skills and qualifications that students need to keep pace with the developments of the twenty-first century and build their personalities in various fields.
- 2014
Baraem Rowad Al-Khaleej nurseries were founded in Riyadh – Al-Sahafa District
- 2015
– Rowad Al-Khaleej International Schools were founded in Riyadh – Al-Mugharrazat neighborhood
– Rowad Al-Khaleej International Schools in Dammam also held a workshop entitled (The Seven Habits of Excellence for Teenage Leaders)
- 2016
– Braaem Rowad Al-Khaleej nurseries were founded in Dhahran city – Al-Dana district.
– Al-Khaleej Group for training and education expanded in the field of international and private education through adding Al-Ishraq Private Schools for Girls in Dammam, Al-Hamra district, to become a part of the group under the name: Rowad Al-Khaleej Private Schools.
-Rowad Al-Khaleej International Schools won the nomination by the Department of Education in the Eastern Province as the best schools that provide developed education.
- 2017
– Rowad Al-Khaleej International Schools were founded in Jeddah – Obhur Al Shamaliah district.
– Rowad Al-Khaleej International Schools in Dammam obtained an accreditation degree for the “Leader In Me” program from the Franklin Covey Foundation in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Middle East.
– Five students from Rowad Al-Khaleej International Schools in Dammam received the Saudi Aramco Scholarship List (CPC)
– AC Milan Academy was founded for the first time in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
– Rowad Al-Khaleej International schools, with their international and private departments, won eleven gold and silver medals in the kangaroo competition 2017
- 2018
– The first special education school was founded within the group of Rowad Al-Khaleej International schools
– Rowad Al-Khaleej International Schools became the distributor and strategic partner of CALVERT Education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
– Rowad Al-Khaleej International schools launched a photography competition under the title “Vision 2030”
– The students of Rowad Al-Khaleej International schools achieved the fifth rank in the top ten in the Kingdom in the results of general abilities tests
– Rowad Al-Khaleej International schools get five silver and bronze medals in the Kangaroo Competition 2018
- 2019
– AC Milan Academy in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia received a visiting delegation from AC Milan Italian Club
– The students of Rowad Al-Khaleej International schools Schools, Dammam Branch, achieved a distinguished rank among the top ten schools in the Kingdom in the results of general abilities tests (scientific)
- 2020
– Rowad Al-Khaleej International Schools, with their international and private departments, win thirty-two gold, silver, and bronze medals in the Kangaroo 2020 competition
