Al-Khaleej International Schools, a member of Al Khaleej Training and Education Group and Vice President for Education, Dr. Khaled Al-Suhaim, announced the launch of Learning Online, in collaboration with Calvert Education, the leading American Learning Center for more than a century.
Calvert Education serves schools and students in all 50 US states and more than 90 countries with its comprehensive classical curriculum and exceptional teaching.
Since its founding in 1906, Calvert has helped educate hundreds of thousands of families to teach their children outside the traditional classroom. These include former Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor, Governor William Buckley and US President Barack Obama.
Calvert Education also has a partnership with regions and schools around the world to help them expand their educational offerings to meet the needs of their students from the primary to the twelfth grade.
Beginning in the fall of 2014, Calvert introduced a high school program as well as a distinguished and dynamic curriculum to award an accredited diploma from the Maryland Department of Education (MSDE).
Dr. Al-Suhaim called on other international schools and parents to support this initiative, which aims at increasing the knowledge of our students and instilling the concept of creativity to build their academic and professional future within Vision 2030.
