A new success story has been written by our student Nadin Abdulbary bin Seddik Gaml Al leel in grade 9 at Rowad Alkhaleej National School, after she was honored in The National Olympiad for Scientific Creativity “Ibdaa 2020″ for her great scientific research about the electro-chemical energy.
The brilliant student who hasn’t exceed the 14 years old yet, managed to prepare a great research under the headline “Lead sulfide decorated ZnO Nanorods heterostructure assembly via controlled SILAR cycles number for enhanced photo electrochemical cells”
This research will help in generating energy from solar cells.
King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity “Mawhiba” organized this competition, which was held in King Saud university in Riyadh between 12 Feb to 15 Feb 2020.
Nadin won a prize from the Saudi Electricity Company after they reviewed her research that will help in developing the electric power generation in the kingdom.
Nadin expressed her extreme happiness after getting honored. She also thanked all of her school’s teachers and management. Her father expressed his pride of his daughter and the school that encourages the academic research.
The National Olympiad for Scientific Creativity “Ibda’a” is a science & engineering annual competition organized by “Mawhiba”. The competition is based on competing in a scientific field where the students prepare a solo scientific project according to the project standards. The projects are rated online by a group of academic specialists and professionals according to a set of standards to select the best projects to be promoted to the next level. The competition targets the age group: 7-12th grade students (12 – 20 years old).
