About RAIS Extracurricular

Schools believes that academic subjects and extra-curricular activities complement each other and develop a well-rounded, socially skilled, and healthier student. Extra-curricular activities help to develop the whole student.

Some of the monthly themes and activities at our RAIS Girl’s School in Jeddah include:

Each class must prepare a short play for annual events and for assembly according to the rota.

Students must write up reviews of the books they have read. Teachers will create QR codes and stick them on the books. All students must read a certain number of books each week and take the QR codes home to find out what the QR code reveals.

Each class must choose songs to:
1. Sing (as a group)
2. Use instruments to play (as a group)
3. Individual renditions (using instruments or voice)

Debating skills – this helps to develop students’ self-confidence, general knowledge, presentation skills and critical thinking capability.

All students will play in fixtures with neighbouring international schools:

Students must undertake a mini-project. It must be documented and recorded for inclusion in a school-wide publication. Presentations can include time-lapse photographic evidence.

Rules of games will be taught and winners will get prizes.
