Hence the importance of integrating artificial intelligence into education to develop educational institutions in the Kingdom and the Arab region in general, as the skills of artificial intelligence have proven their effectiveness and ability to develop the educational system and make it an integrated system that keeps pace with the continuous development in the world and achieve the Kingdom\u2019s vision 2030 in education.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What is artificial intelligence AI?<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Artificial intelligence is generally represented in the fields of computer science, manipulating the behavior of electronic devices, simulating their intelligence, and their ability to solve problems using many technical processes and innovations.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Artificial intelligence has many advantages that are able to enrich and develop learning in various fields, such as the elements of the STEAM program, which include science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics. Its distinction from human capabilities is the possibility of integrating learning through artificial intelligence by collecting all the details and the most accurate in various disciplines and technologies.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The importance of integrating education with artificial intelligence:<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Integrating artificial intelligence with education makes us able to face various challenges in the field of education in the future, and enables us to devise effective practices in educating generations and achieving sustainable development goals.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The application of artificial intelligence in education helps to develop and enhance human cadres to achieve countless achievements when the human brain cooperates with the capabilities of a smart and fast machine in life, learning and work.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

How artificial intelligence contributes to education:<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0Entire generations of children have grown up in a digital world full of artificial intelligence in various aspects of their lives, they adapted to it and depended on its multiple services that make their lives easier in something, starting with Siri or Google Assistant, going to many applications powered by artificial intelligence that meet all their needs from Study and education, healthcare for entertainment and communication.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Artificial intelligence has been able to improve the educational experience in many ways, including:<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Reducing the phenomenon of school dropout:<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Building a specific system to increase students’ academic commitment<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

AI checks each student’s performance and alerts early on that a student’s level of decline and weaknesses that need to be improved helps teachers and school administrators to intervene and support students before they decline further.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Artificial intelligence measures a student\u2019s performance according to his scores on tests, homework, frequent attendance or absence, and whether he is participating in extra-curricular activities.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Therefore, it is pivotal to support the individual learning of each student during his educational experience, and here comes the benefit of artificial intelligence that makes the learning experience customized for each student, for example, artificial intelligence techniques are shaped with content that suits the level of each student in addition to providing aid, instructions and notes throughout the learning period.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Placement tests:<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The application of artificial intelligence in education is characterized by the implementation of a level assessment system, which is represented by a number of tests in the form of interactive activities through which artificial intelligence assesses the level of the student. These tests are characterized by their accuracy in determining the extent to which the student understands the lesson, as he solves it without preparing or feeling the tension of the tests and the anxiety of comparison between him and his colleagues. Artificial intelligence assessments are designed for each student according to his own standards, which helps in creating a comfortable and smooth learning environment.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Unhindered Communication:<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Artificial intelligence makes the learning experience more comprehensive and considers different groups of society such as non-Arabic speaking students, and students with learning difficulties or visual or hearing impairments, giving them many opportunities to communicate better and achieve multiple achievements during different academic levels.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What is the future of learning with artificial intelligence:<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In the year 2020 and so far, our world has witnessed many changes in the form of the educational process, starting with tablet e-books, distance study and advanced educational technologies day after day with the contribution of artificial intelligence.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The impact of artificial intelligence on students does not only end, but it also contributes to facilitating the lives of teachers through the completion of administrative work that often requires a large part of time and effort and does not require creativity or thinking such as organizing papers and answering frequently asked questions. Where recent studies have proven that the teacher spends 31% of his time doing administrative work in addition to preparing lessons and correcting students’ marks<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The use of artificial intelligence will help them pour 100% of their focus into the tasks of communicating with students and preparing an educational material compatible with the students\u2019 mindsets without being preoccupied with the routine administrative work.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Artificial intelligence techniques also improve students\u2019 listening and focus during the explanation of the materials, and ensure their full comprehension of the study material, as smart technologies complement the role of the expert teacher in his field by providing virtual classes to improve the level of students and develop their various skills.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Direct communication through the classroom teachers. The student needs to recall this information by relying on parents or teachers, which narrows the time of all parties and reduces the quality of information recall and the achievement of the required results. However, with the availability of the smart teacher (the virtual teacher), who is distinguished by his ability to determine the student\u2019s level and intelligence, and thus build how to explain the educational material in a way that provides the required amount of assistance in the appropriate ways with each student.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It is worth noting that artificial intelligence is a branch of information technology sciences.
